neet. there have been others that have made them from other parts and even used a broom handle for steeringinginging.

What happens when you have to brake hard with a segway? Does it manage to stay upright or is there no hard braking, only motor brake type of "roll to a stop"?

braking hard is a good stiff "lean back" , but not too far or you will fall over back wards.
